Albany County Public Library Vandalized

The Laramie Police Department is investigating vandalism at the Albany County Public Library. Sometime between 6:00pm Friday November 9, 2018 and 9:00am Saturday November 10, 2018, one or more subjects caused extensive damage to the Albany County Library. The Laramie County Combined Communications Center and the Laramie/Albany County Records and Communications Center are excited to announce that Text-to-911 is now available in both Albany and Laramie counties. In addition to providing additional options for the deaf and hard of hearing community, this service will enable residents and visitors to contact 9-1-1 via text message in situations where making a voice call would endanger the caller, or when the caller is unable to communicate effectively due to an existing medical condition or a sudden onset of a medical situation.... Gillette Man Arrested for Strangulation of a Household Member

On November 25, 2017 at approximately 12:19 pm, Laramie Police Officers responded to the 200 block of North 7th Street for the report of an unknown male who had entered a residence and was yelling and breaking things. As a result of the officer’s investigation, Noah M Newman, a 31-year-old Gillette resident, was arrested and is being charged with two felonies, Strangulation of a Household Member (WS 6-2-509) and Unlawful Entry into an Occupied Structure (WS 6-3-307(a))....
