The annual presentation of the State Transportation Improvement Program for Albany County is scheduled for July 14.
This presentation includes WYDOT’s planned transportation projects for the county in the coming years, as well as updates from WYDOT that cover both statewide and local topics.
This year, we will cover project plans from 2020 through 2026. This is a great opportunity for local officials and the public to see what projects are expected in their area in the future and to offer feedback.
The presentation will be made on Tuesday, July 14, at 12 p.m. at the WYDOT district office, 3411 S. 3rd St. in Laramie. The same presentation will also be given during a joint work session with the Albany County Commission and Laramie City Council at 6 p.m. July 14.
Both meetings will adhere to current public health orders and WY Department of Health guidelines to help limit the potential spread of COVID-19.
Additionally, a virtual public meeting option will be available online at wydotSTIPmeeting.com starting July 13. The website will allow the public to see projects on an interactive map with another opportunity to make comments.
We look forward to your input on scheduled projects and suggestions for possible inclusion of currently unplanned projects.
