UW’s Clark Opens CNFR on Successful Ride

University of Wyoming bareback rider Wyatt Clark covered his first horse during the opening round of the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) Sunday afternoon at the Casper Events Center. Summer Solstice Celebration at the UW Art Museum Friday

The University of Wyoming Art Museum will host its annual summer solstice celebration Friday, June 20, from 11:30 a.m-12:30 p.m. This free event celebrates the longest day of the year and the official beginning of summer. Every year at exactly noon on the summer solstice, the sun shines through a solar tube in the ceiling of the Rotunda Gallery and illuminates the silver dollar that is embedded into the center of the gallery’s floor....
