LCCC to Celebrate 50th Anniversary this Weekend

Laramie County Community College is celebrating 50 years of service, and the community is invited to join the festivities. The main event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22nd, on the LCCC Campus. This free, all-ages event will offer a variety of activities for the entire community, including a taco lunch, live music featuring local band Change Agents, plus prizes and giveaways, including free t-shirts for the first 1,000 visitors.... Betty Kiser Memorial Chili Cook-off 2018 Winners

In it’s third year the Betty Kiser Memorial Chili Cook-off, held annually during Laramie Jubilee Days, drew a collection of fantastic chili cooks and helped to raise more than $900 for the Laramie Soup Kitchen. The 2018 Laramie Jubilee Days Parade sponsored by Laramie Dental Arts had more than 85 entries and lasted approximately 1 hour.   The theme this year was “Gem City Of The Plains” to correspond with the 150th Anniversary of Laramie.
