Texting 911 is now an Option in Albany and Laramie Counties

The Laramie County Combined Communications Center and the Laramie/Albany County Records and Communications Center are excited to announce that Text-to-911 is now available in both Albany and Laramie counties. In addition to providing additional options for the deaf and hard of hearing community, this service will enable residents and visitors to contact 9-1-1 via text message in situations where making a voice call would endanger the caller, or when the caller is unable to communicate effectively due to an existing medical condition or a sudden onset of a medical situation....
