“Tomorrow is a great opportunity for us. If we have a good day as a group tomorrow, we are still within striking distance of several teams. We are very capable of putting together a strong round Sunday.
“We had significant wind today in Palm Desert and it was obvious in all the teams’ scores. The weather looks to be better tomorrow. The guys just need to focus on tomorrow’s round. A good round tomorrow would be a nice way to wrap up this first week of the season.”
The third and final 18-hole round of the 2021 Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate will be played on Sunday, with teams teeing off in a shotgun start at 8 a.m., Pacific Time (9 a.m., Mountain Time).
