On January 8, 2021, the Small Business Administration announced early PPP access for first-time applicants (ie, those who did not receive a PPP loan in 2020), through community lenders like MoFi. MoFi began providing PPP loans to first-time applicants on Monday, Jan. 11, and opened up to second-time PPP applicants on Wednesday, Jan. 13. (The program will open to all participating lenders shortly thereafter.)
If you know of any businesses that are interested in a PPP loan (first or second), especially those unable to access PPP with a traditional bank or credit union, please encourage them to get in touch as soon as possible. We are working with people on a first-come, first-served basis. Here is a link where they can get started: https://www.mofi.org/paycheck-protection-program-loans/
Note: Businesses must be located in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana or Wyoming.
