Two shows scheduled during this month at the University of Wyoming Harry C. Vaughan Planetarium have been canceled.

“Star of the Magi,” originally scheduled Friday, Dec. 11, and Friday, Dec. 18, both at 7 p.m., has been canceled.

“We are proceeding with our Tuesday programs,” says Max Gilbraith, the planetarium’s coordinator.

The revised December schedule is as follows:

— “Wyoming Skies,” Tuesday, Dec. 8, and Tuesday, Dec. 15, both at 7 p.m. The program provides a tour of the constellations and celestial objects, and is best seen from this part of Wyoming in the winter sky.

Seating is limited, so tickets will be by reservation only. To purchase tickets, email planetarium@uwyo.edu or leave a voicemail at (307) 766-6506. Prices are $3 for students and children, and $5 for adults.

To view current free online planetarium programs, go to www.uwyo.edu/physics/planetarium/schedule.html. A dozen free movies are available online, Gilbraith says.
