Health concerns are causing local businesses and organizations to modify operating hours, close, postpone or make other changes to how they conduct their operations. *Several local Laramie businesses are offering the option of curbside pickup/delivery and payment over the phone. See a list of those businesses at this link.

*Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in Laramie will deliver 11am to 2pm and 4pm to 8pm. Call 721-3800

*Sweet Melissas vegetarian Cafe is currently open for curbside and home delivery. Current hours of operation are 3 to 8 PM, Mon-Sat. Please call 742-9607 to place an order. You can access their menu on their Instagram page, or sweetmelissacafe.com.

*The Curiosity Shoppe Is Open. If you need some Easter gifts, they can help you out if you message them on their facebook page or call/text Kristen at 760-1780. They can customize a gift basket and can send pictures or video chat to show you different items.

*Turtle Rock Coffee & Cafe is open weekdays 7am to 2pm and Saturdays 8am to 2pm. They have an online menu at https://turtlerockcafe.com/ and they deliver when you place an order by calling 745-3741

*Art & Soul Paint Your Own Pottery Studio, 107 Grand is offering take home art kids for kids, they will supply all that you need and are offering curbside delivery. Visit this link for more info or call (307) 742-2021

*The Crowbar & Grill at 202 South 2nd will be offering curbside pick up and delivery Tuesday through Sunday 11am to 9pm. They will be able to deliver food as well as a limited selection of beer, wine, ciders and hard seltzers. Call 460-2756

*Cool Cuts in the Northridge Shopping Plaza is closed per Governor’s orders of non essential businesses until April 30th

*Safeway in Laramie is now open 7am to 8pm daily until further notice. Tuesday & Thursday 7am to 9am is now designated shopping time for seniors and those at risk

*Farmers Insurance-Chris Haglund Agency: Has closed the office to customers and are available by phone and online. Call Chris at 760-6220 or Belle at 760-4157

*Martindales Western Store is open normal hours, 9am to 530pm Mon-Fri, 9am to 5pm Sat and 12noon to 4pm Sunday. They have gift certificates available, puzzles for the kids and all their regular offerings. If you need something and you’re unable to make it to the store, call them at 721-4100 and they will help you get what you need. They can take payment over the phone and mail a certificate or hold onto it at the store for the customer

*Down To Earth Dry Cleaners in Laramie is open Weekdays 9am to 4pm. They offer delivery services with curbside pick up and drop off. They can help with dry cleaning, daily laundry, bedding, blankets, couch pillows, curtains, and anything else like that. Call them at 745-3333

*Corona Village’s dining room is now closed but they will offer free delivery 11am to 8pm daily. Call 721-0167 to place an order.

*Digital Doctors, 405 South 21st remains open to repair your digital device or sell you needed cell phone accessories. No in store customers, only staff in the business. They are open by appointment only for free curbside pick up or delivery in Laramie City Limits for $10. Their normal business hours are Monday – Friday 9:30 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. *Bank Of The West at 3rd & Garfield is keeping their lobby and drive thru open but they are reducing their hours indefinitely, effective immediately both will be open 930am to 4pm weekdays and 9am to 12noon Saturday

*ACPE has closed their lobbies but have extended their drive-through hours.  The DT will be open M-F from 7:30 am to 6 pm and Saturday 9 am to 1 pm.   If people have any questions they can call ACPE at 745.4726

*The Laramie Soup Kitchen has gone to to-go meals only, no dining in. They’re open from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with the hot meal available for pick up between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.. They still have lots of hot options, salad bar, and take home items.

*Ridleys Market in Laramie has hours just for seniors Mondays & Wednesdays 6am to 7am

*Taco Johns dine in is closed, but the drive through is open

*Laramie Plains Federal Credit Union has closed the lobbies at both of their branches. Mobile deposit is available as always and the drive thru will be available as usual. If you do not drive and can’t accomplish business via their mobile app or by phone, LPFCU staff tells Hits 106 you can walk up to the drive thru window on foot to conduct business. You can call or text LPFCU at 745-5365

*Visionary Communications (internet/phone, etc) will not terminate service to any residential or small business customer and will waive their late fees.

*The Laramie Plains Civic Center is closed to the public. Staff will still be available by phone at 745-8000 (emergencies: 399-0622) or by email, admin@lpccwy.org

*The University Of Wyoming has closed facilities to the public, most are open to students are staff, with some limited hours/service. Click this link to read more details.

* LCCC has ceased all physical operations om campus. Employees should work from home. LCCC will continue to operate and employees will be prepared to assistant faculty and the community.

*The City Of Laramie is encouraging residents to participate and interact with City Council by electronic means. You can watch city council meetings live on the City of Laramie Facebook page at this link or on cable tv channel 191. The best way to reach out directly to council during this time of social distancing is by emailing council@cityoflaramie.org. The city asks residents to only attend council meetings if their attendance is essential to the items on the agenda, as only items essential to continue city operations will be discussed at this time

*The Epson Center For Seniors is closed until April 1st and will re-evaluate the closure at that time. There will be no activities, classes or congregate meals during this time. There will be curbside pick up of hot meals 11:30 to 1pm daily following the current menu, except no Monday night dinners. Home delivered meals will continue as normal. There will be transportation services for essential rides only.

*The Albany County Public Library closed to the public. This closure includes the library’s main branch in Laramie, Wyoming, and two rural branches in Centennial and Rock River, Wyoming. The closure is due to recent guidance from Governor Gordon and the Centers for Disease Control with regards to the COVID-19 pandemic.

*The Hilton Garden Inn would like to offer their services to support any Senior who needs assistance picking up groceries at this time Mon-Fri between 9am-3pm. Please contact the hotel directly and they will be happy to coordinate with you, call 307-745-5500.

*Grounds Coffee & Internet Lounge, 171 N 3rd has closed the dine-in area. Call 460-2073 or text 223-0254 to place an order for pick up or delivery. There is NO delivery fee. They are doing their own deliveries 8am to 6pm

Windy City Pet Store, 1660 N. 4th (Northridge Plaza). Call ahead at 742-7387 to place an order and they will deliver curbside and take payments curbside as well

*The Park & Rec center along with Ice & Event Center in Laramie are now closed and will remain closed through April 3rd. *The 30th Annual Youth Basketball Tournament in Laramie has been cancelled for 2020

*Free Tax Prep/Filing Help At The Laramie Civic Center has been suspended and they are not expecting to to be able to get that operational again before the tax deadline

*The Central Rocky Mountain Region has cancelled the first 3 Spring Rodeos.. March 20th in Gillette, Eastern Wyoming College March 27th and Colorado State’s Skyline Stampede April 3rd. The season will begin with Casper College’s Ropin’ and Riggin’ Days Rodeo April 17th

*Walmart which is normally open 24 hours is now operating 7am to 8:30pm to give associates an opportunity to re-stock and keep the store dis-infected. From March 24 through April 28, Walmart stores will host an hour-long senior shopping event every Tuesday for customers aged 60 and older. This will start one hour before the store opens.
