A Total Lunar Eclipse Visible from Wyoming

This will not happen for another 2 1/2 years

By: Elton Menchick

Later this month, folks right here in Wyoming will be able to look to the skies and see something rare.. a Total Lunar Eclipse. It’s an eclipse of the Super Wolf Moon. If you look towards the heavens on January 20th, you’ll see a Super Blood Wolf Moon. Starting Sunday January 20th at 7:36pm, the earths shadow will cast on our moon. By 10:12pm, the moon will be in totality.. The shadow will move away and the moon will return to normal by 12:48am. Wyoming is known to be one of the darkest states in the country so Wyoming will be a great place to see the Super wolf blood Moon. You don’t want to miss this because the next Total Lunar Eclipse won’t occur until May 26, 2021.
