WYDOT Construction Report For November 3rd Game

New web cameras have been installed on WYO 230 and US 287.

Fans traveling to the University of Wyoming football game against the San Jose State Spartans on Saturday, Nov. 3, should expect the following activities and/or construction projects:

Between Cheyenne and Laramie:

  • No construction activities.

Between Casper and Laramie:

  • No construction activities.

Between Rawlins/Carbon County and Laramie:

  • The Wagonhound Rest Area and interchange (Exit 267) remains closed due to bridge work. Drivers are being detoured on the exit and entrance ramps of the interchange.
  • Bridge work on Interstate 80 in eastern Carbon County continues. Drivers should be prepared for lane closures and reduced speeds.
  • WYO 130 over the Snowy Range and WYO 70 over Battle Pass remain open.
  • A new webcam has been placed on WYO 230 at MM 33.2, about a half-mile east of the Chimney Park Trailhead. It is available at wyoroad.info and on the Wyoming 511 app.

Between Fort Collins and Laramie:

  • No construction activities.
  • A new webcam has been placed on U.S. 287 at MM 414.5, just south of the Union Pacific Railroad bridge. The camera is available at wyoroad.info and on the Wyoming 511 app.

A High Wind Warning is in effect for portions of Southeast Wyoming, including Laramie, from 3 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, to midnight on Saturday, Nov. 3. Snow is possible Friday night and Saturday morning, as well as on Sunday. Drivers should be prepared for potential winter conditions. Up-to-date forecasts are available at weather.gov.
