Highway 230 Fire

On Nov 30, 2017 at 10:08 the Laramie Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire at 851 WY Hwy 230. Upon LFD Engine 7 arrival, the attached garage of a split level home and a camp trailer immediately next to the garage were on fire. Engine 7 crews engaged the fire at 10:19. The fire was brought under control at approximately 10:50 with final extinguishment at 1230. The fire caused heavy damage to the camp trailer, garage, and contents of the garage. The home suffered smoke damage.  No injuries were reported by the residents or responders.

Responding agencies for the incident included Big Laramie Volunteer Fire Department, Albany County Central Volunteer Fire Department, Centennial Valley Volunteer Fire Department, City Of Laramie water tender, Albany County Sheriff, Carbon Power and Light, and Black Hills Energy. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
