Wyoming Athletes Heading to Casper for Fall Tournament

Nearly 900 Special Olympics athletes, Unified Sports® partners, coaches, friends, family and volunteers from all over Wyoming will travel to Casper October 4-6 for the 2017 Special Olympics Wyoming Fall Tournament.

Athletes will compete in tennis, soccer, cycling, and bowling events over the course of three days in the Casper area.

Athletes competing in this year’s Fall Tournament hail from: Laramie, Cody, Lander, Powell, Riverton, Thermopolis, Washakie County, Bridger Valley, Evanston, Sublet County, Sweetwater County, Teton Schools, Cheyenne, Goshen County, Platte County, Buffalo, Crook County, Eagle Ridge, Gillette, Johnson County, Newcastle, Sheridan, Casper and Douglas.

The Tournament Opening Ceremony will be Wednesday (10/4) evening at 7:00 pm at Natrona County High School.  Competition begins Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Sunrise Lanes.  Locations for competition include the North Casper Soccer fields, the Sunrise and El Marko bowling alleys, the Wyoming Athletic Club for tennis and the Crossroads Softball Fields for cycling.
