The Albany County Planning Office is providing vouchers that can be presented at the Laramie Landfill for the free disposal of car and light truck tires and refrigerators. This opportunity is provided through a partnership between Albany County, the Laramie Rivers Conservation District, and the Laramie Beautification Committee. While this is an annual event, there is a change this year. Vouchers will be valid from August 21st to September 1st, not just on a single day.
“We are excited to offer this opportunity once again to Albany County residents. This has been a program that has been very well received and utilized by our community. The Board of County Commissioners and our partners continue to support this effort to help people clean up and beautify our community”, explained David Gertsch, Albany County Planning Director. “I hope residents will utilize this opportunity and the extended time to use the vouchers to get rid of some old tires or a refrigerator on our dime”, he added.
Vouchers are available for pick up at the Albany County Planning Office, 1002 South Third Street or via email at email@example.com . For questions please call (307) 721-2568
