As snow continues to fall the City of Laramie and Albany County Emergency Management Agency would like strongly advise citizens of Albany County to no unnecessary travel within the City of Laramie due to winter conditions.
Current weather forecasts call for additional snow with a winter storm warning in effect until 6 am Thursday.
Additional snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches is expected through Wednesday night with the highest snowfalls expected in western Laramie County.
Temperatures tonight are expected to drop to nearly -10, highs for Thursday around 2 and lows Thursday night will drop to -20.
The Wyoming Department Of Transportation has already issued no unnecessary travel warnings for Interstate 80 between Laramie and Cheyenne as well as Highways 130 and 230.
