New Head Boys Basketball Coach

Laramie High School is pleased to announce that Dr. Travis Brown will be their new Boys Basketball Coach with the Albany County School Board approval. Mr. Brown will  continue to bring an exciting style of basketball to the LHS program. He will bring great energy and enthusiasm to the basketball program at Laramie High School.

 

Dr. Brown received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Washington State University in Neuroscience. Dr. Brown played collegiately at Spokane Falls Community College and Eastern Washington University. Travis and his family (wife Julie, son Jaedyn) moved to Laramie from Providence, RI. Dr. Brown currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the School of Pharmacy and Neuroscience Program at the University of Wyoming.

 

Since moving to Laramie, Travis has established a competitive youth basketball program, the Gem City Wranglers. Travis has also coached youth football and baseball in Laramie. He brings with him over ten years of coaching experience.

 

Dr. Brown will soon be meeting with coaches and players to coordinate summer workouts.
