Wyoming to Participate in World’s Largest Truck Convoy® to Benefit Special Olympics Athletes

On September 19th, 2015, law enforcement and truckers join forces to hold the World’s Largest Truck Convoy (WTLC).  The Wyoming leg is part of an international event which will unite more than 2,000 truckers in 34 states and five Canadian provinces, hoping to raise more than  $700,000 for Special Olympics programs. 

Truckers will gather in Cheyenne, Wyoming at the Park-N-Ride lot located just off I-25 and Happy Jack Road; that’s Exit 10, located south of Frontier Park where there will be a celebration at noon to wrap up the event. 

The World’s Largest Truck Convoy is a unique partnership between law enforcement and the trucking community to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics. Officers involved in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics have made the WTLC one of many annual signature events.

The minimum donation to participate in the Special Olympics convoy is $100 per truck.
